What we do

RADAR turns research into practical support for democratic resilience, through three connected strands of work.

Research

Interdisciplinary research across the project pilot countries builds a comparative knowledge base and tests how different public messages are received.

Practical tools

A transparent digital tool helps users assess problematic online narratives, alongside practical resources for civil society, journalists, educators and public authorities.

Engagement

Peer-learning exchanges, mentoring, trainings and policy forums translate findings into useful guidance and multilingual support materials.

A European partnership

RADAR runs from September 2026 to August 2029. It brings together 17 partners from 10 countries, is coordinated by The Lisbon Council and is funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe.
